BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the Orbea Rise LT. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Published Aug 14, 2025 by Nick Koleszar.
10 reasons to buy
- The Rise LT comes in five builds, two with alloy frames and 630Wh batteries, three with carbon frames and a choice of 420Wh or 630Wh.
- Testers praise the Rise LT's “top-tier” capacity for descents, one saying it’s the most natural-handling e-MTB she’s ridden.
- Experts applaud the balanced geometry and comfortable, efficient pedaling position, adding that front wheel lift and rear traction are easy to manage.
- The custom-tuned Shimano motors have two modes: RS (56Nm) and RS+ (85Nm). Experts relish the RS+ mode's power on climbs.
- Testers are satisfied with the Rise LT's range, even from the 420Wh battery.
- An expert calls the grippy Assegai MaxxGrip EXO+ front tire and robust Minion DHR II MaxxTerra DD rear the perfect combination.
- The Rise LT frame can take droppers up to 240mm.
- The shock flip-chip can be quickly adjusted with the wrench stored in the rear axle.
- This bike is compatible with an optional 210Wh range extender.
- Battery charge can be monitored via the Orbea app, Garmin watches and head units, or the optional Shimano SC-EN600 display.
10 reasons not to buy
- Some reviewers complain of flex in the frame. This is possibly from loosening shock linkage bolts, a problem also experienced with previous iterations of the Rise.
- Testers experience many pedal strikes, even with the flip-chip in the high position.
- A tester of the Rise LT M10 reports flex in the rear frame and OQUO MC32 Team Power wheels in high-speed cornering and big hits.
- Shimano’s e-bike controls are too minimalist, the app is frustratingly slow to connect, and the optional display is outdated.
- One reviewer says the GRIP X damper (M-Team, M10) lacks sensitivity.
- A tester of the M-Team says it isn't very forgiving, and it doesn’t absorb mid-size hits very well.
- A test bike’s headset starts creaking, and because of the headset-routed cables, adding grease takes two hours.
- One reviewer suffers a stripped fixing while swapping shocks and has to wait for Orbea to send the proprietary replacement.
- Reviewers bemoan the noisy motor and shock.
- The range extender occupies the only bottle-cage mount and makes the highest assist mode unavailable.
Bottom line
Orbea’s Rise LT is a trail e-MTB with FOX suspension (160mm front, 150mm rear) and a custom-tune Shimano EP801 motor. The five builds include options of alloy or carbon frames and 420Wh or 630Wh batteries. Only the carbon builds are tested. Experts disagree on whether the frame is too flexy, too stiff, or perfect; but possible problems with loosening suspension fixings complicate matters. Reviews celebrate the geometry, motor performance, and range. The bike thrives when ridden hard, but it lacks sensitivity and isn’t very forgiving. The Rise LT is deemed a compelling option for those seeking a hard-charging lightweight trail bike with plenty of grunt.Expert Reviews
