Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the NIU BQi-C3 Pro. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

11 reasons to buy

  • NIU states a 60 to 90-mile battery range. Real-world testing by experts supports these estimates.
  • The low number (3) of PAS levels, single-speed gearing, and Gates carbon belt drive simplify operation and reduce maintenance needs.
  • Experts and owners highlight the ease of mounting and dismounting the low step-through frame.
  • The BQi-C3 Pro has fenders, ergonomic grips, a bell, and an integrated cargo rack rated for 66lb.
  • Users admire the “sleek” frame, seamlessly integrated batteries, and eye-catching two-tone finish.
  • The integrated lights automatically turn on with the bike and have brake activation.
  • The 3.5” display is intuitive and easy to read, even in sunlight, but not through polarized sunglasses.
  • Testers and users enjoy the seamless riding experience thanks to the belt drive and single-speed gearing.
  • Reviewers and owners report good acceleration up to 20mph on level surfaces.
  • NIU states rider fit of 5’2” to 6’5”. Users from 5’3” to 6’4” say they fit comfortably.
  • The warranty covers the frame, fork, battery, motor, charger, controller, and display for two years.

9 reasons not to buy

  • BQi-C3 Pro owners and other NIU customers complain of product failures and abysmal customer support.
  • In hill-climbing tests, the bike struggles on steep gradients and when climbing on throttle only.
  • Owners report a very uncomfortable ride over bumpy surfaces.
  • Though NIU includes a cable splitter for charging both batteries at the same time, the 2A charger means long charging times.
  • Single-speed gearing leads to ghost pedaling above 12mph and hinders climbing ability.
  • This bike has just three PAS levels instead of five. An expert says the jumps between levels are jarring.
  • If extended, the kickstand blocks the pedals when trying to roll the bike backwards.
  • An owner reports that many fasteners came loose after less than 50 miles.
  • The BQi-C3 Pro is heavy for this category. Owners confirm the bike is hard to lift, transport, or pedal without pedal assistance.

Bottom line

NIU's BQi-C3 Pro is a step-through commuter with a 500W motor and two batteries totaling 920Wh. Reviewers praise the great battery range, simple and smooth operation, and stylish looks. The accessories and low stepover height also score points. The single-speed transmission and Gates belt drive should prove durable and easy to maintain. However, the ride over bumps is poor, the bike is heavy, and charging is slow. Lack of gears leads to ghost pedaling and hinders hill climbing. The NIU BQi-C3 Pro is considered a good option for someone seeking a low-effort ride for smooth paved surfaces, but the company's poor customer support may deter buyers.
