  • There is no locking mechanism or strap to secure the folded XP 2.0 Step-Thru.

Bottom line

The XP 2.0 Step-Thru suits riders with a wide height range, from 5’0” to 6’3”. The XP Step-Thru’s frame is easy to mount and dismount and is the recommended choice for shorter riders. This bike arrives fully assembled. Buyers only need to unfold the XP 2.0 Step-Thru, adjust the handlebar and seat heights and pump up the tires. The XP 2.0 Step-Thru’s low price impressed riders and reviewers. Components operated well after months of use. Reviewers were able to maintain a high average speed of 16.3 mph on the XP 2.0 Step-Thru. For most users, the range distance remained consistent, between 23 and 25 miles. The XP 2.0 Step-Thru can be manually switched between a Class 2 speed limit of 20 mph and a roaring 28 mph Class 3 limit.

Lectric XP Step-Thru 2.0 Review

The Lectric XP 2.0 features numerous improvements that make it even better than the original. It may have the same frame and motor, but the addition of a suspension fork, wider handlebar, and narrower 3-inch wide tires have improved its handling and overall ride quality. This Class 2 and 3 capable bike is quick, comfortable, and comes with loads of great features at what we feel is a very reasonable price.

Lectric XP 2.0 Review: Your First Electric Bike

If someone looking to buy their first e-bike were to ask me which one to get and that weren’t sure how much they were gonna ride it or where they were going to ride it, I would tell them to heavily consider the Lectric XP, mostly for how many features you get for the price.

Lectric Ebike 500W Geared Hub Motor vs Rambo 500W Truck Run Mid-Drive Motor up Hills

We’re going to be putting the Lectric XP 500-watt rear-hub-motor e-bike up against the Rambo Cruiser 500-watt mid-drive motor and we’re going to be doing a hill test with them… pretty impressive that the Lectric beat me… I really thought the Rambo was gonna win… The Rambo Cruiser definitely climbed up steep hills a lot easier… I definitely recommend the mid-drive if you have a lot of inclines that you’re constantly climbing up.

Rambo Cruiser Mid-Drive Ebike Test and Lectric Step-Thru First Trail Ride of the Year!

One of the main differences that I’ve noticed so far is the Lectric comes with a rack and fenders… Yes, [the Rambo Cruiser] is a lot more money but…there is a pretty good advantage on one thing on that bike and that’s the mid-drive motor and the torque that it has… You’re not going to beat the price and free shipping that [the Lectric] has… The noise of [the Cruiser’s] motor is very quiet…the way the pedal-assist kicks in is more fluid than on the Lectric… Do I think [the Cruiser] is worth over double the price? In my opinion, at [this price], no I do not.

Lectric XP 2.0 Deep Dive Review With Ride Footage & Commentary

It comes with a 9.6 Ah battery which should be good for about 40 miles in the lowest PAS (pedal assist setting), but if you’re like me you ride in mainly PAS 2 to 3, you’re more likely to see that reduced to around 30 miles in real-world conditions. Going up hills, it’s great.
