BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

- This bike comes with a rear rack rated for 120lb, fenders, a headlight, a taillight with turn signals and brake activation, footpegs, and a rear wheel guard.

- Experts say the upright riding position, swept back handlebars, foam saddle, and ergonomic grips make for a comfortable ride.
- In testing, the Tektro HD-E350 hydraulic disc brakes deliver excellent stopping power.
- The Kenda 2.4" tires are puncture-resistant, and reviewers say they roll well.
- The Flyer app provides map navigation, ride tracking, and PAS customization.
- Experts appreciate the selection of cargo and kid-carrying accessories with corresponding frame mounts.

6 reasons not to buy
- Testers find the 500W motor underpowered on steep hills, especially when the bike is loaded.
- Reviewers find the ride harsh over broken pavement.
- Two testers experience the pedals scraping in turns.
- The 330lb payload capacity and 220lb maximum rider weight are below average for a model marketed as a cargo e-bike.
- The choice of a Shimano Tourney derailleur disappoints testers at this price point.
- The below-average 2A charger delivers lengthy charging times.
Bottom line
Reviewers agree the Flyer Flex is a solid utility e-bike, but some feel certain components don't match the bike's price tag. The smooth power delivery, stable handling, strong brakes, and ride comfort impress. Thoughtful included accessories and Flyer's optional accessory range also garner praise. However, competing e-bikes, such as Aventon's Abound SR and Specialized's Globe Haul ST, offer more power and battery capacity at a similar price. Overall, testers feel the Flex is a short-tail e-cargo option, albeit slightly overpriced.Expert Reviews
