We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Bottom line

The Buzz Centris is a folding electric fat-bike that comes rider-ready from new; with racks, lights and fenders included. It’s a Class 2 vehicle that will reach 20mph using the throttle (which won’t activate from a dead stop). While testers stress that this is not a mountain bike, the suspension and bulbous 4”-wide tires do make for a comfortable ride on gravel and mild dirt trails. Buzz's price is highly competitive. The ride position is very upright, which may suit less-mobile riders but be unsuitable for more athletic types. It weighs 67 lb, so it’s a heavy one-person carry. Brakes are mechanical but do their job well.

Buzz Centris Folding E-Bike Review

Overall, I’m very happy with the Centris. It’s the fat tire, folding e-bike I’ve been looking for. It’s priced well, especially compared to the competition. No, it’s not the best e-bike in the world, but it’s a blast to ride. It’s also comfortable and practical. Sure, it could be better with fancier components, but then it wouldn’t be priced so low.

Buzz Centris Folding E-Bike Review

A great companion for mellow outdoor adventures, or it can be folded up in the corner of an apartment for weekend trips to the boardwalk. This is not the bike for daily commuters or folks wanting to do more challenging off-road rides, but it’s great for casual riders.

What’s All the Buzz About?

The Buzz Centris is a ton of fun! The one thing that we’d like to see improved would be the suspension. During off-road trail riding, it bottomed out pretty hard a few times. It literally took me less than 60 seconds to put this whole bike together and have it ride-ready.
