It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the Burchda Y3 AWD. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Published Aug 08, 2026 by Amar Punekar.
9 reasons to buy
- The Y3 AWD comes with a rear rack, a pannier bag, fenders, rearview mirrors, a headlight, and a taillight with brake activation.
- Testers relish riding the bike in dual-motor mode, reaching a top speed of 37-39mph using the throttle.
- Reviewers appreciate the throttle’s gradual power buildup.
- In testing, the Y3 AWD clears a steep incline using throttle only in dual-motor mode.
- Riders can switch between front, rear, and dual-motor drive using the display.
- The hydraulic disc brakes prove reliable in testing.
- Experts say the 4” wide tires absorb bumps well.
- The 60-degree adjustable stem allows quick modifications to fit.
- The color display has a USB port to charge devices on the go.
10 reasons not to buy
- Burchda's product page advertises a 220mm dual-crown fork, but the bike comes with a 130mm single-crown fork.
- Testers say the rear shock is too stiff and doesn't add much comfort.
- Despite Burchda’s marketing, experts find this bike unsuitable for any off-roading.
- Both the motor power and unlocked top speed exceed legal e-bike limits.
- The dual-motor claims a peak power of 5,000W, but a reviewer reports the controller can only deliver a max power of around 3,000W.
- This bike resets to rear-motor mode every time it powers on.
- The slow 2.8A charger yields long charging times of around 11 hours.
- One test bike shuts off twice while climbing a steep hill.
- The product page lists a payload capacity of 400lb, but the owner's manual states a maximum load of 264lb including the rider weight.
- The low IPX4 water resistance means the Y3 AWD shouldn't be ridden in heavy rain.
Bottom line
The Burchda Y3D AWD’s spec list looks impressive on paper. The bike comes with full suspension, dual 1,500W motors, and a 1,560Wh battery, all at a budget price. However, the build quality disappoints. The product page is full of inconsistencies and misleading claims about the fork, motor power, and payload capacity. The suspension is basic, and the bike isn’t capable off-road, but fat tires cushion the ride over bumpy pavement. Testers enjoy the unlocked top speed, gradual acceleration, and climbing performance. Nevertheless, the Y3D AWD’s long list of issues makes it hard to recommend despite its budget-friendly price.Expert Reviews
