BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the Puckipuppy Doberman. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
10 reasons to buy
- Testers commend the smooth, responsive power delivery provided by the combination of torque and cadence sensors.
- Reviewers find the Doberman relatively comfortable for a fitness-style e-bike with no suspension.
- The Logan hydraulic disc brakes work well in testing.
- The Doberman's stem has 90 degrees of adjustability for quick adjustments to fit.
- Owners and testers appreciate the bike’s low weight.
- The Doberman comes with fenders and lights.
- One reviewer praises the nimble handling.
- The bike’s IPX6 water resistance is above average.
- The Doberman has two sets of bottle-cage mounts.
- Puckipuppy customer support is responsive.
5 reasons not to buy
- The Puckipuppy Doberman isn’t UL-certified at the time of writing. Puckipuppy says the testing is underway.
- The headlight mount doesn’t fit the center of the handlebars, so testers must attach it far from the stem and pointing outward, greatly reducing its functionality.
- The taillight is not powered by the bike’s electronics, and lacks brake activation.
- Puckipuppy states a fit range of 5’4” to 6’6”, but this is contradicted by the 7.5” of saddle-height adjustment, and a 5’6” tester finds the bike too big.
- The lack of dedicated mounts limits options for fitting a cargo rack.
Bottom line
On the surface, Puckipuppy's Doberman seems a good attempt at a lightweight e-commuter, undercutting the prices and weights of models like the Ride1UP Roadster v3 and Velotric T1 ST Plus. Unfortunately, reviewers don't test the bike's true range, and the 70-mile rating won't be achievable. Also, the 14" height range (5'4"–6'6") is inaccurate with just 7.5" of seatpost adjustability. Worse, perhaps, is the lack of UL certification, as it's a consistent trend with Puckipuppy bikes and should deter buyers, especially since the aforementioned competitors are certified.Expert Reviews
