BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Aipas M1. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

10 reasons to buy

  • The Aipas M1 comes in two builds: Pro or Max. The M1 Max has hydraulic disc brakes and an air shock.
  • Reviewers appreciate the easy-to-mount step-through frame.
  • The M1 includes fenders, lights, a horn, a controller-integrated USB charge port, and a 75lb-capacity rear rack.
  • Testers say the M1 handles light off-road trails without issues.
  • Experts appreciate the stable handling at high speed.
  • Reviewers say the motor provides decent power with a smooth, gradual ramp-up.
  • Testers are pleased with the performance of the M1 Pro’s suspension at this price point.
  • The bright color display is easy to see with polarized sunglasses, according to a tester.
  • A 180lb tester gets 40.75 miles of range riding mostly in PAS level 3.
  • A reviewer praises customer support for returning emails within one day.

9 reasons not to buy

  • At nearly 100lb and 80” long, the M1 is extremely heavy and large.
  • Reviewers of the M1 Pro are disappointed by the weak mechanical disc brakes on such a fast, heavy bike.
  • Two testers experience severe handlebar wobble. Aipas suggests removing the rear rack, which resolves the issue for one.
  • Testers say the bike is cumbersome to handle at low speeds.
  • Aipas lists two wildly exaggerated height ranges: 5’5” to 7’2” and 5’8” to 7’6”.
  • The M1's power and top speed exceed legal e-bike classifications.
  • The speedometer reads up to six miles per hour over an external GPS.
  • Several testers of the M1 Pro complain of noisy rear shocks.
  • The 2A charger takes a lengthy nine hours to charge the battery.

Bottom line

The Aipas M1 is a budget fat-tire e-bike available in two builds. Only the Pro is tested. For a heavy bike that goes 32mph, testers advise either swapping to hydraulic brakes or choosing the M1 Max. The suspension impresses for the price, contributing to decent performance on light off-road terrain. On the other hand, the high-power motor struggles on steep hills. While reviewers feel the M1 provides good value, it's difficult to ignore the reported issues.

Aipas Xterra M1 Pro

If you’re planning mostly city with light trail use and aren’t chasing max range or top speed nonstop, the M1 Pro is a strong contender. Just budget a little conservatively for battery performance and ease into the braking dynamics.

Aipas M1 Pro Review: 36MPH Beast Conquers Trails for Under [Price]! (Honest Test)

For the price point though, it is definitely a lot of power compared to most other bikes out there for what you get… The first thing I do not like about this bike is that it has mechanical disc brakes.

The Best Budget E-Bike Under [Price] Period! – Aipas M1 Pro

For the price, you can’t beat this thing. I highly recommend it. Some things I’m not fond of: it’s got mechanical disc brakes. Again, it’s a budget e-bike, so they have to make cuts somewhere.

My New E-Bike Is Scary Out of the Box! (Can We Change That?)

You can tell that they took shortcuts to try to get the price down. The fact that the back suspension is so loud and I’m on town roads right now.

Aipas M1 Pro Xterrain ST E-Bike Review | Great Price | Upgrades

It’s a Bafang sub-branded motor on this, and their claim is 110Nm and that this bike goes over 36mph. I’ll let you guys be the judge of that, but you’ve seen what I was able to get.

Aipas M1 Pro Serious Front Wheel Death Wobble – Buyer Beware Aipas Is Committing Fraud!

My final thoughts about the Aipas M1 Pro: very disappointed. I spent a lot of money. I bought the bike and bought another battery for $500. The front tire wobbles real bad.
