The XP Lite 2.0, Lectric’s lowest-cost folding e-bike, forgoes accessories and gears to keep the price and weight down. Updates to this version include hydraulic disc brakes, a color display, new color choices, puncture-resistant tires, and optional Gates Carbon belt drive. Reviewers praise the strong brakes, easy folding, decent climbing abilities and range, and quick assembly. However, power is poorly distributed across pedal-assist levels, the height range is exaggerated, handling is “squirrely” at high speeds, and the battery rattles over bumps. While all testers deem the XP Lite 2.0 great value, it's too heavy to be ideal for last-mile commuting.
