Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the DYU T1. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

8 reasons to buy

  • Reviewers compliment the “sleek” and “attractive” weld-free magnesium alloy frame.
  • Testers say folding the DYU T1 is quick and easy.
  • Experts appreciate the “easy to control and powerful” mechanical disc brakes.
  • The DYU T1 is lightweight at just 49lb.
  • The 250W hub motor handles steep gradients well, according to one tester.
  • DYU provides an optional throttle that can be removed to switch between Class 1 and Class 2.
  • The T1 has a torque sensor that produces smoother, more natural pedaling compared to the cadence sensors typically used in this price range.
  • A 6’3” tester says the bike is comfortable. DYU rates it for riders between 5'2" and 6'4".

6 reasons not to buy

  • Experts say the lack of a display or companion app limits the bike’s appeal.
  • A reviewer laments the “simple” battery indicator.
  • The T1 only has one pedal assist level. Testers feel this reduces ride enjoyment.
  • Reviewers say the optional fenders negatively impact the bike’s aesthetics
  • According to some experts, the suspension seatpost offers little benefit.
  • One tester reports as little as 20 miles of real-world range, falling short of DYU’s rating.

Bottom line

The DYU T1 is a “well-built,” entry-level folding e-bike with a 250W motor, torque sensor, and a “unique” aesthetic. Reviewers praise the quick and easy folding process, relatively low weight, brakes, and punchy motor. The inclusion of a torque sensor is also noteworthy at this price point. The main drawbacks include the lack of a display, inadequate battery level indicator, underwhelming range, and its single PAS level. Despite these limitations, the DYU T1 is considered a “reasonably priced” folding commuter.

DYU T1 Torque Sensor Foldable Electric Bike | Unboxing, Assembly & Ride

I really like this e-bike. It’s lighter in weight than most models, folds easily, and fits into my truck, and it could fit into the back seat too. I’m a fairly tall woman (5′ 8″) and this e-bike worked great for my height.
