Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Aventon Ramblas. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

17 reasons to buy

  • The range wows testers. A max assist (PAS 3) test covers 47.5 miles and 1,150 feet of elevation at 17.5mph. A PAS 1 tests covers 107.5 miles and 2,224 feet at 13mph.
  • The abundant, “controllable” power inspires confidence, making the Ramblas ideal for MTB noobs, say reviewers.
  • Testers savor the “natural” assistance and relatively easy unassisted pedaling.
  • Experts are impressed by the Ramblas' climbing performance.
  • The SRAM 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes are excellent, say reviewers.
  • There are four frame sizes to fit riders from 5’1” to 6’5”.
  • The Small frame has size-appropriate 720mm handlebars, 27.5” wheels, and 125mm-travel dropper post.
  • The bike comes with a 4A fast charger and two integrated taillights. Commuters can optionally install the included headlight, reflectors, and kickstand.
  • Aventon includes a KS dropper seatpost with the Ramblas.
  • Assist power, max torque, and acceleration level for each of the three PAS levels are customizable via the Aventon app.
  • Experts praise the performance of the RockShox 35 Silver TK suspension fork, which has 130mm of travel and adjustable rebound.
  • SRAM's NX Eagle 1x12 drivetrain is noteworthy at this price point.
  • The Boost spacing and thru-axles enhance rigidity and upgradability.
  • The Ramblas has clearance for 2.6” tires.
  • Experts feel the geometry is "decent," with the bike handling well on climbs and descents. The head tube angle is 66.5° and seat tube angle 74.5°.
  • Reviewers compliment the “smooth” welds and “beautiful” hand-painted Borealis finish which is unique to each Ramblas.
  • Aventon’s US dealer network numbers 1,000+.

5 reasons not to buy

  • A tester reports multiple instances of electronic failure, raising doubts about long-term reliability.
  • The wheels and tires aren't tubeless-ready.
  • The “flimsy” battery cover and latch disappoint reviewers.
  • Some testers complain of a “stiff” dropper lever.
  • A reviewer says that despite Aventon’s video guides, assembly could be a challenge for some owners.

Bottom line

Aventon’s Ramblas is a hardtail e-MTB with a 20Ah battery, a high-torque mid-drive motor, quality brand-name components, and a hand-painted finish. Experts praise the well-rounded performance and design. Standout points include the “excellent” battery range and climbing ability, “terrific” brakes, and impressive suspension. Reviewers are slightly disappointed by the fork’s lack of adjustability and the non-tubeless-ready wheelset. However, they appreciate the bike’s upgradeability. Overall, the Ramblas is deemed a massive bargain and an excellent first e-MTB that could “upset” the market. That said, prospective buyers should beware Aventon’s poor reputation for reliability and support.

Aventon Ramblas Review: Aventon Takes on Trek, Specialized, and Giant With This E-MTB!

The Aventon Ramblas is a well-designed machine, with solid components and a spectacular paint job. Although a couple of upgrades might have been nice – such as an air front fork – any concessions are justified by the accessible price point. And upgrade capacity is built in.
