Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the GOTRAX Ranger. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Published Jun 14, 2026 by Amar Punekar.

8 reasons to buy

  • The GOTRAX Ranger comes with a headlight, a taillight with brake activation, fenders, and a frame storage box.
  • Testers appreciate the gradual, controlled throttle acceleration.
  • A 190lb reviewer gets 23 miles of range on a flat, paved route using only the throttle.
  • Reviewers say the GOTRAX Ranger’s handling is stable and predictable.
  • Experts praise the comfortable ride over bumpy pavement.
  • Two testers enjoy the upright riding position.
  • Tests show that the hydraulic disc brakes provide good stopping power.
  • One expert is impressed by the inclusion of brake cut-off sensors at this price.

6 reasons not to buy

  • At a tested 81lb, the Ranger is roughly 11lb heavier than GOTRAX's claim.
  • The bike’s payload capacity of 264lb is below average.
  • Reviewers dislike the basic grayscale display, and the battery readout is unreliable.
  • As is common for this e-bike category, pedaling is uncomfortable.
  • One expert wishes the throttle speed were tethered to PAS level for more granular control.
  • GOTRAX doesn’t provide a sizing guide, geometry details, or an online owner's manual for this bike.

Bottom line

Initially, the GOTRAX Ranger appears to be another addition to a sea of budget moto-style e-bikes. However, given the price, the strong hydraulic brakes and a solid throttle-only range impress reviewers. Testers also praise the gradual throttle acceleration, stable handling, and ride comfort over bumpy pavement. All in all, the Ranger avoids many of the problems common in budget moto-style e-bikes, making it good value in an otherwise underwhelming segment.

GOTRAX Ranger Review – The [Price] Moto E-Bike?

Finding good, practical e-bikes with enough power to get around, good looks, class 3 speeds, extra safety with e-cutoff sensors and UL certification on the electronics, all that for a price at [this price] is very hard to find these days. So for that, I think the GOTRAX Ranger fits a nice medium for those who want it.
