BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Ford Mustang E-Bike. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Updated Mar 24, 2026 by Reda Ashour.

8 reasons to buy

  • The Ford Mustang e-bike is available in three sizes and standard gray or a red '60th Anniversary Edition'.
  • Both reviewers say the adjustable DNM air suspension smooths out bumpy pavement.
  • One tester praises the comfortable ride.
  • An expert appreciates the strong braking power from the Tektro four-piston hydraulic disc brakes.
  • A tester enjoys the “sporty” and maneuverable ride feel.
  • The Ford Mustang e-bike comes with a headlight with low and high beams and a taillight with brake activation.
  • A reviewer says the integrated battery, internal cable routing, and one-piece cockpit create a clean aesthetic.
  • Test rides are available at local Ford automotive dealers, but Ford says to contact the dealer first.

7 reasons not to buy

  • The Mustang doesn't come with a kickstand or fenders.
  • An expert says pedaling to 28mph requires significant effort.
  • A tester reports a pedal assist delay.
  • The battery isn't removable, which complicates charging.
  • A tester says the saddle feels like a brick.
  • One reviewer cautions that the proprietary parts used will be hard to replace.
  • An expert thinks the price is too high, given the specifications.

Bottom line

The Ford Mustang e-bike is designed for fans of the iconic car. It borrows similar styling cues, and the Anniversary Edition is a throwback to the vintage red aesthetic. The Mustang's comfortable, sporty ride also impresses reviewers. In testing, the 750W motor delivers underwhelming power. It does, however, provide four useful PAS levels, and the brakes prove powerful in testing. The absence of a kickstand and fenders, the proprietary parts, and a non-removable battery are considerable impracticalities. Overall, as one expert points out, the Ford Mustang is very expensive for what's essentially an unremarkable urban runabout.

2025 Ford Mustang E-Bike Review

Again, [it’s] very maneuverable. If I had a Cloud-9 seat, I guarantee you this would be right up there as one of the best e-bikes I’ve ever ridden up to this point. It’s just a great ride; it feels sporty.
