Bottom line
Of the three Defiant builds, only the standard rigid-framed version is reviewed. On one hand, it’s relatively lightweight and compact for a fat-tire folding e-bike. On the other hand, the weak mechanical brakes, below-average range, and lack of accessories are disappointing at this price. Jupiter addresses these issues by adding hydraulic brakes and a taillight to the Pro, and further adding rear suspension and a bigger battery on the ST, but at even higher prices.
