Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the SPLACH Cross. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

10 reasons to buy

  • This bike is available with the choice of one or two batteries.
  • A reviewer relishes the “brisk” acceleration over flat terrain.
  • One tester gets 30 miles of range from one battery when relying mostly on the throttle.
  • The bright motorcycle-style headlight has high and low beams.
  • Owners can install an AirTag in the supplied compartment.
  • The NFC card system secures the bike and makes it easy to power on and off.
  • The suspension, plush saddle, and fat tires provide a comfortable ride on bumpy terrains, according to a tester.
  • A reviewer compliments the Cross's retro motorcycle look.
  • SPLACH offers a handy optional frame bag that fits securely inside the frame (but not if a second battery is carried).
  • Children will probably enjoy the fake motorcycle sounds.

8 reasons not to buy

  • Buyers lament unfulfilled orders, lost money, broken products, missing parts, and terrible after-sales support.
  • Mechanical brakes on a 73lb bike that does 28mph are a bad joke, especially at this price point.
  • The Cross exceeds 20mph using the throttle, which is illegal in most jurisdictions.
  • A tester says the rear shock feels springy on bigger hits.
  • SPLACH doesn't state how much travel the suspension has or offer any useful guidance on geometry or rider fit.
  • A reviewer finds the Motorcycle Engine Sound Simulator “super cringey”.
  • The tiny fenders provide almost no protection from water and dirt thrown up by the tires.
  • A 5'9” tester finds the bike a good fit, but thinks the 32” seat height is too high for riders under 5'7”.

Bottom line

Yet another “cool” moto-style e-bike with a 750W hub motor, fat tires, and grand claims about dominating all terrains. Yawn. Toddlers will no doubt be impressed by the fake motorcycle sounds. Adults should just walk away. Though the lone reviewer appears to like this bike’s performance, ride comfort, and style, the facts are that the SPLACH Cross is an over-priced triumph of cheap manufacturing. Questionable durability, a total lack of safety certifications, and bottom-of-the-barrel components make this a bike to avoid, except for bros whose funds vastly outweigh their sense.

Ultimate SPLACH Cross E-Bike Test Ride | Motorcycle-Inspired Electric Bike, Top Speed & Range Review

I would say this bike nails its goal of being a motorcycle like electric bike that is equally at home cruising the city streets or exploring dusty back roads.
