Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Santa Cruz Skitch. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

10 reasons to buy

  • Despite the high price, reviewers deem the Skitch “worth every penny.”
  • Few bikes carry the premium cachet of a Santa Cruz.
  • Experts agree the Skitch boasts an unrivaled mix of competency in both commutes and fun-filled back-trail blasts.
  • Reviewers savor the low weight, stiffness, and beautiful finish of the “high-end” carbon frame.
  • Experts relish the compact and “unobtrusive” FAZUA motor.
  • The Skitch is available with flat or drop bar and with mechanical or electronic SRAM shifting.
  • A reviewer says the handling is so good, it’s “obnoxious.” An owner praises the “nimble” handling around town.
  • Testers rate the flat bar Skitch as “super comfortable.”
  • The Skitch boasts a USB-C port for powering a phone or bike computer.
  • Assistance characteristics like power and acceleration can be customized via the FAZUA app.

5 reasons not to buy

  • The Skitch is eye-wateringly expensive. Experts say competitors offer 90% of the experience at half the cost.
  • The lack of rack or fender mounts and high theft risk degrade the Skitch’s utility as a commuter.
  • The battery isn’t removable. Neither charging nor safe storage in cold winter months is possible in an unheated garage.
  • The Skitch is only sold in Matte Olive Green. Buyers ought to get some alternative colorways at this price.
  • A tester calls the FAZUA app “meh” (but points out that the app isn’t needed to enjoy the bike).

Bottom line

The Skitch, another lust-worthy ride from Santa Cruz, is a premium e-gravel bike boasting a “beautiful” carbon frame, a sleek FAZUA 250W motor, and serious cred at café stops. Highlighting the low weight, superb off-road handling, and well-tuned pedal assist, experts think the Skitch might be the ultimate do-everything bike. The lack of fender and rack mounts and the ever-present fear of theft make the Skitch a somewhat impractical option for commuting. However, the biggest impediment for buyers is the high price. That said, reviewers and owners still consider the Skitch great value and hugely attractive.

Santa Cruz Skitch | E-Bike Review

It’s still at a reasonably affordable price point for what you’re getting… I’ve had nothing but good things to say about it… it’s the only bike that I have had a hard time selling… I can’t get rid of this thing.

Review: Santa Cruz Skitch

… the Specialized is probably a wiser financial choice, but you cannot argue with matters of the heart, and the Skitch has mine. If I had a 10-mile commute each way and a good layaway plan, I would get one of these in a second.

A Flat Bar Gravel Bike That Makes You Faster

I think the Switch [sic] might actually be the best performance e-bike on the market right now. It’s silent, the range, the geo, the weight, puts it in a category all its own.
