BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Radio Flyer Flyer Loop. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Published Jul 08, 2026 by Reda Ashour.

12 reasons to buy

  • The Flyer Loop has a 440lb payload capacity and supports 220lb on the rear rack.
  • The Radio Flyer achieves the shortest stopping distance of the cargo e-bikes tested by one publication.
  • The Flyer Loop has switchable torque and cadence sensors.
  • Reviewers praise the smooth, gradual power delivery and responsive motor.
  • One tester climbs a 9.2% hill under throttle power with the bike fully loaded.
  • Testers enjoy the comfortable upright riding position.
  • The suspension fork does a good job of absorbing road imperfections, according to reviewers.
  • Testers say the Flyer Loop feels agile for a cargo bike.
  • Users can adjust the power of each assist level, top speed, and light settings through the display or app.
  • The Flyer Loop comes with a drivetrain guard, rear-wheel cover, front fender, storage compartment, and dual-sided kickstand.
  • The included front and rear lights actuate under braking and have integrated turn signals that auto-cancel.
  • Radio Flyer provides a lifetime warranty on the frame.

7 reasons not to buy

  • One test bike’s motor gives an error code and cuts out three times during testing.
  • A 210lb reviewer gets 29.4 miles in a max assist range test, which is below average for cargo e-bikes.
  • Reviewers wish for a suspension seatpost to lessen the harshness over bumps.
  • Reviewers notice frame flex when the bike isn't loaded.
  • Two 5’11” testers feel cramped despite the 4’11” to 6’3” height range. Also, handlebar height and angle cannot be easily adjusted.
  • The 2A charger returns lengthy charging times.
  • Some reviewers have issues connecting to the Radio Flyer app.

Bottom line

Radio Flyer's Flyer Loop is a compact cargo e-bike with a 440lb payload capacity. The 220lb-capacity rack fits two kids, but adding cargo accessories raises the price significantly. The Flyer Loop earns praise for its polished finish, well-tuned motor, and strong brakes. Additionally, the sturdy kickstand, steering stabilizer, and step-through frame make loading the bike easier. Reviewers are disappointed by the small battery, inaccurate sizing, and buggy app, but they still recommend the Flyer Loop for parents with small children who want to ditch their car.

The Radio Flyer Loop Review: Cargo E-Bike Meets Family Commuter

Overall, the Radio Flyer Loop is a high-end offering with plenty of power, features, and add-on accessories to get the kids from point A to B. But I did find quirks that held it back from being a purpose-built cargo e-bike.

Flyer Loop Cargo E-Bike Review: Compact, Comfortable and Built to Haul

Its biggest strengths are accessibility and versatility. The low frame makes it easier to mount, while the modular accessories allow owners to configure it… The primary concerns are weight, fit, and total cost after accessories.

The Radio Flyer Loop Is the Safest Family E-Bike I’ve Tested

Some of you might want a more cushy seat. I totally get it. But the ride quality here is very soft overall and very comfortable. The kids haven’t had any complaints about the comfort of that rear seat.
