BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the Lumos Firefly. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
8 reasons to buy
- The Firefly can be used as a headlight (white) or taillight (red). Owners of multiple Firefly lights can sync them together.
- Owners and testers say the Firefly is sufficiently bright for being seen in urban environments.
- The “intuitive” Ride Lumos app offers excellent customization of light modes.
- The app shows the charge level of each light connected.
- Magnetic mounting allows quick attachment and detachment of lights from their mounts.
- An included Velcro strap allows the Firefly to mount to competitor’s helmets and other clothes or gear.
- The Firefly can be synced with other cyclists’ Lumos lights or the built-in lights of the Lumos Ultra and Ultra E-Bike helmets.
- These lights can be programmed to turn off together, but they must be turned on individually.
5 reasons not to buy
- Lumos markets the Firefly for use as brake lights and turn signals, but using these functions requires the purchase of a handlebar remote accessory.
- Lumos doesn’t provide the charging bases with the Firefly; these cost extra.
- Two owners lose lights after they fall off the magnetic mounts. Lumos provides a clip with each mount for additional security.
- Owners say the runtime in taillight mode with brake activation enabled is poor.
- The Firefly light alone is pricey, but adding all the necessary accessories makes it very expensive.
