He reached an “impressive top speed” of 35 mph.
  • A reviewer lauds this rig’s “huge” mileage. Juiced claim a maximum range of
    100 miles.
  • With both torque and cadence sensors, an expert reports “consistent and smooth power output”.

  • A reviewer believes the asking price is “impressive”, given this e-moped’s “robust power supply”.
  • This e-bike’s padded saddle is 24” long and seats a passenger. An expert says it’s comfortable over long distances.
  • A tester deems these fat 4.25” tires to be comfortable and “smooth handling”.
  • Reviewers and owners love that this rig looks like a motorcycle.
  • One expert is a fan of the brightness and aesthetics of the included 2000-lumen headlight.
  • A bluetooth speaker is integrated into this e-bike’s headlight. An owner confirms:
    it “cranks”.
  • A reviewer praises the inclusion of ‘knock-resistant’ turn signals and a tail /brakelight combo.
  • An expert says hydraulic disc brakes provide “strong and reliable stopping power” that’s mandatory for such a heavy vehicle.

  • An expert feels this e-bike’s handlebars and grips are both comfortable and ergonomic.
  • A tester declares this e-bike’s display to be visible under “any” lighting conditions.
  • A reviewer says the bike’s ‘walk mode’ is an essential inclusion for pushing this rig.

5 reasons not to buy

  • A reviewer lists the “staggering” 119 lb weight of this e-bike as its main drawback.
  • The HyperScrambler 2 Founder’s Edition is available in one size only.
  • A tester says this e-moped’s control buttons are a “bit of a stretch” to reach with one’s thumbs.
  • An expert says this rig’s generous ground clearance could make it difficult for shorter riders to mount and unmount.
  • Some owners say this e-moped’s saddle is uncomfortable and could be wider. One owner’s shorts were stained by it.

Bottom line

The Founder's Edition HyperScrambler 2 is Juiced Bikes’ ‘fully-loaded’ model. It’s got a 1000W motor (that rocketed one tester to 35 mph), and two 52V 19.2Ah batteries storing 2kWh of juice to provide a purported 100-mile maximum range. With both torque and cadence sensors, a tester says this e-bike gives an “intuitive feel”, in response to pedal input. Owners love that it looks like a motorcycle, but a tester is less amped that it weighs like one too: 119 lb. Ride, and lift, with caution.

Juiced HyperScrambler 2 Review: This 100+ Mile Range, 30+ MPH E-Bike Is Insane

Juiced Bikes’ most premium e-bike. Complemented by its torque and cadence pedal assist, it delivers a consistent and smooth power output that provides a fun and thrilling ride without compromising stability. It would be a very good solution for anyone who does need to commute, with some caveats. The HyperScrambler 2 is heavier than most other e-bikes.
