BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

8 reasons to buy
- The HovCart comes with lights with brake activation, fenders, and a rear rack (180lb capacity).
- Testers relish the motor's strong throttle acceleration and hill-climbing power, though it may be too aggressive for some riders.
- Reviewers praise the natural pedal assist.
- This bike has an above-average payload capacity of 450lb, and experts appreciate the variety of accesory options for carrying cargo and passengers.
- The Radius hydraulic disc brakes and 180mm rotors perform well in testing, and the levers are reach-adjustable.

- The saddle has a handle that can be used to pivot the bike or for a passenger to hold.
- One reviewer likes the upright position of the high-rise handlebars.
8 reasons not to buy
- The aggressive throttle acceleration can cause the front wheel to lift if riding with heavy cargo in the rear.
- An expert weighs the HovCart at a hefty 86.1lb with the rear seat cushion, children’s seat, running boards, and front basket installed.
- Testers report ghost pedaling above 20mph.
- The HovScout's speedometer reads three miles per hour higher than an external GPS, according to a reviewer.
- The rear rack partially blocks the taillight’s visibility.
- The below-average IPX4 water ingress protection rating means the HovCart shouldn't be ridden in heavy rain.
- Testers only reach 25mph using pedal assist, falling short of the advertised max speed of 28mph.
- The translated user manual doesn’t make sense in some sections.
Bottom line
The HOVSCO HovCart is a cargo e-bike with fat tires, a 750W motor, and a 720Wh battery. The high payload capacity, accessory options, powerful motor, smooth pedal assist, and strong brakes impress testers. The HovCart is heavier than HOVSCO claims, and adding accessories takes it close to 90lb. Some testers like the strong throttle acceleration, though it may be too aggressive for others. Other complaints include ghost pedaling and an inaccurate speedometer. Overall, testers consider the HOVSCO HovCart a good low-cost e-cargo option, but it doesn't stand out from the competition.Expert Reviews
