Join us for a breathtaking 590 mile, 9-day cycling adventure along the stunning coastal paths from Jacksonville to Key West. 🏖️ Experience the magic of top Florida bike trails, pedal through lush and changing landscapes, and explore historic towns. This isn’t just a Florida bicycle ride; it’s a journey to raise MS awareness and enjoy the best of Florida cycling!
🌟 Highlights:
– Discover hidden gems on the best bike trails in Florida.
– Explore charming bike-friendly towns like St Augustine along the route.
– MS Awareness Month celebration throughout March 2024.
– Scenic coastal paths, separated bike lanes, and beachside rides.
🚲 Key Details:
– Dates: March 1-10, 2024.
– Route: Jacksonville (Fernandina Beach) to Key West.
– Trail Types: Beachside paths, Florida bicycle paths, bike lanes, and scenic road shoulders.
– Cost: Initial $50 donation then an achievable $4 per mile of fundraising totalling $2,350.
– Covered: All accommodation, vehicle support, team jersey, volunteer Route Leaders and Mechanic.
– Not covered: Travel to and from the trip and food (some overnight hosts are generous enough to do food for the team and we are working on shuttle options from Key West back to Miami).
– Accommodation: Mix of host churches, community centers and camping. Riders are welcome to book alternatives if preferred. We keep costs to a minimum to allow more of your hard earned fundraising to go towards support those living with multiple sclerosis.
– MS Focus: Bike Florida and support MS awareness month during this 9 day adventure.
