Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Cervélo Rouvida. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

13 reasons to buy

  • Owners give the Rouvida top marks for performance, handling, battery range, and finish.
  • The Rouvida comes in two SRAM road builds and two gravel builds (SRAM or Shimano).
  • Using optional dropout inserts, the geometry and tire clearance can be switched between road and gravel settings.
  • The Rouvida has clearance for 34mm tires in its road setting and 43.5mm tires in gravel.
  • Cervélo states battery range of 60 miles. A tester gets 40 miles on rolling terrain with the highest assistance setting and almost 75 miles using less assist.
  • Cables and hoses are mostly routed internally but run outside the handlebar and stem, reducing the cost and complexity of swapping bars or stem.
  • Testers appreciate how the RockShox Reverb AXS electronic dropper post (Force XPLR AXS 1 Gravel) provides some saddle suspension when partly dropped.
  • An expert says the “intuitive” FAZUA app makes it very easy for riders to tailor the motor assist to their riding style.
  • The Reserve 40|44 carbon wheels (Force XPLR AXS 1 Gravel and Red XPLR AXS 1 Road) have a lifetime warranty. A reviewer applauds them as stiff and responsive.
  • A tester says the Force XPLR AXS 1 Gravel’s SRAM Force drivetrain works wonderfully, with fast, accurate, and effortless shifting.
  • An expert praises the excellent SRAM Force brakes (Force XPLR AXS 1 Gravel).
  • A tester says the sleek frame disguises the fact that it’s an e-bike.
  • The Rouvida uses SRAM UDH.

7 reasons not to buy

  • The dropout inserts must be purchased separately. One owner recounts a frustrating and fruitless experience with Cervélo customer support when attempting to buy them.
  • Fitting the dropout inserts requires a dealer-performed firmware update and different brake-caliper mounts.
  • A tester says the control buttons can be hard to activate, and adjusting pedal assistance on the go is tricky.
  • One reviewer bemoans the big jumps between gears, which are exacerbated by the motor’s sensitivity to pedal cadence, and there’s no option to run 2x.
  • The Rouvida comes in only four frame sizes. Some competitors offer five or six.
  • This bike doesn't have mounts for bags or fenders. Most saddle packs won’t fit the top-tier gravel build’s electronic dropper post.
  • The display’s USB-C port provides minimal power, according to a reviewer.

Bottom line

Cervélo's Rouvida is a premium Class 3 e-bike with a carbon frame, 250W mid-drive motor, and 430Wh battery. It's available in two road and two gravel builds, but only four sizes. Optional dropout inserts allow swapping between road and gravel geometries and tire clearances, but this requires a dealer, and the parts may not be available. The top-tier gravel build tested fulfills the promise of its price and specification. There's no review of the road builds. Reviewers lament the lack of mounts or a 2x option. Overall, experts and owners consider the Rouvida a stellar performer for those with deep pockets.

Review: The Cervélo Rouvida Brings Plenty to the Table, but at a Cost

There’s no getting around the cost of this bike, but the same can be said for a number of these high-end road and gravel e-bikes. If the cost isn’t an issue, then it is harder to do better than the Cervelo Rouvida at the moment.

This Vaunted Racing Brand’s First E-Bike Is Basically a Dip in the Fountain of Youth

In another life, I could see picking one of these up just to shred city streets like the Tasmanian Devil. The only question then would be what kind of over-the-top, Pee-Wee Herman-esque lock I’d procure to safeguard a ride that costs nearly 10 grand.
