3 reasons not to buy

A few reviews admonished Bombtrack for the lack of color options available for the Script.
While fast and adequate on dry, even roads, the provided Kenda tires were not tough on rough terrain, in the wet or against broken glass.
More than one owner highlighted the paint job’s lack of resilience, with one cyclist calling it ‘fragile’.

Bottom line

This is a well-loved bike. Owners reported back on their initial impressions of the Script with a sense of exhilaration and pure fun. With extended use, this ride continued to impress with the high quality and durability of its componentry and frame. It came across as a fast, smooth and tight package. If you’re able to nab one at the lower end of the price range, you can be pretty sure that you’ll receive satisfaction and longevity equivalent to a dozen bargain-basement fixies.
