BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Aipas A2 Elite. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Published Nov 26, 2025 by Reda Ashour.

10 reasons to buy

  • The A2 Elite comes with fenders, a 77lb capacity rear rack, a headlight, and a taillight with turn signals and brake activation.
  • The A2 Elite arrives fully assembled.
  • Reviewers reach speeds up to 31mph using the throttle or PAS.
  • Testers praise the fast acceleration when the max speed is unlocked.
  • The A2 Elite can climb steep hills under throttle power alone.
  • Reviewers enjoy the smooth ride quality, saying the fat tires and suspension fork add comfort.
  • The step-through frame makes the bike easier to mount and dismount.
  • An owner praises the instant throttle response.
  • A tester enjoys the upright seating position.
  • The frame has mounts for a bottle cage and front and rear baskets.

7 reasons not to buy

  • Experts find the brakes underpowered for a fast, 67lb e-bike.
  • Experts say the wide seat and poor geometry make for uncomfortable pedaling.
  • Testers complain there is no difference in power between PAS 1 and 2.
  • A reviewer counts a delay of up to four revolutions before pedal assist kicks in.
  • Several testers experience the suspension fork clanking or leaking grease. One owner's bike has a defective fork, and Aipas doesn't honor the warranty.
  • Testers over 200lb say the suspension fork bottoms out easily.
  • Owners criticize Aipas customer support for being unhelpful.

Bottom line

For short commutes, the Aipas A2 Elite earns much praise. The budget folding fat tire e-bike reaches 30mph, climbs steep hills, and is comfortable to ride for most testers. However, some have issues with the cheap suspension fork, and Aipas reportedly deflects responsibility when warranty issues arise. Another concern is the underpowered mechanical disc brakes. The A2 Elite performs well in initial testing as a budget-friendly urban runabout, but buyers should be conscious that Aipas' customer support may not be helpful if problems arise with the bike.

This [Price] E-Bike Goes 30MPH! Aipas A2 Elite Review

It’s not much of a bike through the sand. It’s kind of a hill climber, but this thing just scoots right on down the road. I was super impressed with it.

[Price] E-Bike Has Quirks. Aipas A2 Elite

I think the best user for the Aipas A2 would be something to get around your local area, such as going to a grocery store, maybe going to the library, things that are in a relatively small geographical area.

The A2 packs a punch for its price tag! There are some things left to be desired, but for what you pay here… it’s really not a bad starter e-bike in our opinion.

Lectric XP Killer? – Aipas A2 Foldable E-Bike Review

We just don’t like that sound that the front fork is making. We’re going to reach out to Aipas and find out why it’s bottoming out so much… [It’s a] pretty nice bike at its price point.

Aipas A2 Elite Review & Ride in 2025

I wouldn’t want to ride 50 or 60 miles a day on it. But 30 miles or something, that’s no problem at all, I don’t have a problem with that. It’s pretty comfortable overall.
