Tour de Small Towns ’27
Tour de Small Towns ’27
Saturday, June 26, 2027
The Tour de Small Towns is a one-of-a-kind cycling event that brings together the communities of Southeast Idaho while showcasing the scenery, character, and hospitality of the small towns that make this area so special.
New for 2027, we’re adding a 20-mile route, giving riders even more ways to experience the Tour! With 20-mile, 39-mile, Metric Century, Century, and 150+ mile routes, there’s an adventure for everyone—from riders looking for a fun day on two wheels to experienced cyclists ready to take on a serious endurance challenge.
Along the longer routes, riders will travel through communities including Inkom, McCammon, Downey, Swan Lake, and Arimo, with aid stations providing refreshments, hydration, and support along the way. These stops are part of what makes the Tour de Small Towns unique, giving our communities an opportunity to welcome riders while showcasing local businesses, products, history, and small-town hospitality.
Ready for the 150+ Mile Challenge?
Our 150+ mile route is no ordinary century ride. It’s a long, beautiful, rewarding—and difficult—day in the saddle. Riders should come prepared for significant mileage, climbing and elevation changes, long stretches of open road, and the summer heat that can build throughout the day. Southeast Idaho in late June can bring hot temperatures, sun, wind, and changing conditions, all of which become much more challenging after hours on the bike.
But that challenge is also what makes the 150+ unforgettable. You’ll ride through some incredible Southeast Idaho scenery, visit small towns throughout the region, tackle miles of rolling roads and climbs, and experience the kind of camaraderie that comes from taking on a really big day together. If you choose the 150+, train for it, respect the distance and the heat, and come ready for an adventure. Crossing that finish line will be well earned!
More than anything, the Tour de Small Towns is about community. This ride gives our small towns a chance to connect with cyclists and visitors from across the region, support local businesses, and celebrate everything that makes Southeast Idaho special.
After the miles are behind you, stick around for the post-ride celebration in Inkom, where riders, volunteers, families, and supporters can come together for food, entertainment, and plenty of post-ride camaraderie.
Whether you’re tackling 20 miles or going all-in on 150+, Tour de Small Towns ’27 is about choosing your challenge, enjoying the ride, and experiencing Southeast Idaho one small town at a time.
No refunds. Registration may be transferred to another rider for the same year’s event.
