We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Goat Power Bikes Mini Goat. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

9 reasons to buy

  • Goat Power Bikes offers the Mini Goat with the choice of 30Ah, 40Ah, or 50Ah batteries.
  • Testers are wowed by Mini Goat's responsive motor and power, easily cruising at high speeds and overcoming climbs.
  • The throttle can be modulated to keep the bike at lower speeds.
  • A 250lb tester of the 50Ah Mini Goat gets 50 miles of range.
  • Reviewers find power delivery smooth when the "Starting Strength" is set from one and four.
  • Experts enjoy the plush rear shock.
  • The BMX handlebars can be tilted to adjust the reach.
  • The included 8A charger returns short charge times.
  • The Mini Goat comes with fenders, a headlight with high and low beams, turn signals, and a taillight with brake activation and hazard lights.

13 reasons not to buy

  • Most reviewers feel the Mini Goat has more power than they need or feel comfortable with.
  • The Starting Strength level 5 makes throttle power delivery very jerky.
  • Riders on the low end of the recommended height range (5’ to 6’3”) will struggle with the 29.5” seat height.
  • The Mini Goat is not legally permitted on any public roads or bike paths.
  • The single-speed gearing and short cranks make pedaling nearly impossible, according to testers.
  • At up to 160lb, the Mini Goat is extremely heavy.
  • Reviewers have trouble deciphering all the Advanced Settings in the display, and the display manual doesn’t explain them.
  • The Mini Goat is not certified to meet UL safety standards.
  • Ghost pedaling is reported as early as 10mph in testing.
  • Testers recommend avoiding riding off-road because of the bike's weight, high power, and slick tires.
  • Removing the battery requires removing the large cover.
  • The dual-crown fork creates a wide turning radius.
  • Goat Power provides limited product specifications and contradictory information between the manual and product webpage. When contacted, support isn't forthcoming with requested specs.

Bottom line

Goat Power Bikes' motorcycle-style Mini Goat e-bike has a monstrous 3,000W hub motor providing more power than most riders need. Buyers have a choice of three batteries. This e-bike surpasses all road and bike path limits and is considered a motor vehicle by law. Power delivery is reportedly smooth, as long as the Starting Strength setting is set between 1 and 4. Reviewers are divided on the comfort, stopping, and traction, though they agree the handling is great, especially at high speeds. Overall, the Mini Goat, at this price, has a few too many issues to be recommended.

The 50MPH E-Bike I’ve Been Looking For!

Fast, smooth, silent, low standover, and comfortable, there is not a single thing other than that front brake caliper that I would change about this bike.

5000W of Power!! Mini Goat 72V Electric Bike Review

It’s very fast, 47 mph, [and] very stable with me on top. The bike is stable due to the longer wheel base.

The Mini Goat E-Bike Is a 72V Silent Speed Demon!

We’re going to need a pretty long straight to be able to get all the way up to the top speed, 43mph. Now, if you’re a lighter rider, you’re definitely going to be going faster than I am.

Testing the Updated Mini Goat V2 on Extremely Steep Hills – (Motivational!)

As of now, I’d say out of the Goat bikes I’ve ridden, I would recommend getting the Mini Goat V2. The only downside of this is, it’s not a very good off-road bike.
