BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!
Facts
Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the Tuttio ICT. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
6 reasons to buy
- The ICT has a headlight, a taillight with brake-light actuation, and fenders.
- Reviewers are very impressed by this bike's performance, both climbing hills and hitting 42mph using the throttle.
- Testers are impressed by the C-NAI BFT 20” x 4” fat tires' puncture resistance and grip on all terrains.
- An expert praises the instant throttle response and modulation for lower speeds.
- The 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes and 220mm rotors prove very effective in testing.
- Testers say the long wheelbase and low center of gravity provide good stability.
9 reasons not to buy
- This bike's speed exceeds e-bike rules by a considerable margin, making it illegal in most jurisdictions.
- At 103lb, this bike is extremely heavy.
- The "clunky" suspension lacks useful adjustment and frequently bottoms out, making the bike unsuited to serious off-roading.
- The 5’2”–6’6” stated fit range is unrealistic. The long reach and 33.9” seat height are too much for smaller riders, testers above 5'8" struggle to pedal, and those above 6' find it too small.
- Testers warn that acceleration is so strong, regardless of PAS level, that the front wheel lifts on takeoff.
- A reviewer counts 1.5 pedal revolutions for pedal assist to kick in.
- Tuttio advertises a top speed of 49mph, but this is with the wheel in the air, not actually being ridden.
- One test bike appears to overheat and cuts out after being ridden over hills and through sand.
- Tuttio warns that riders over 265lb must use the suspension lockout, but the bike doesn't have any lockout.
Bottom line
Tuttio's ICT is a moto-style e-bike with a 2000W motor and 1500Wh battery. Its power, ability to top 40mph, and effortless hill climbing win praise, as do the strong brakes and stable feel. The throttle is responsive, but experts can't keep the front wheel down when pulling away. The stated rider fit is woefully unrealistic, the pedal assist is laggy, and the fixed seat makes pedaling difficult for most riders. Furthermore, the bike is very heavy and the suspension is cheap. Most importantly, this e-bike isn't legal in most places. Overall, the Tuttio ICT fails to deliver value or performance.Expert Reviews
