BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the SOHAMO H3. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
9 reasons to buy
- The H3 provides a “smooth” ride over bumpy roads and light trails.
- A reviewer enjoys the “surprisingly soft” saddle. Others say it absorbs bumps well.
- Experts and owners relish the bike’s climbing speed.
- Testers commend the H3’s “balanced” weight distribution, “stable” handling, and maneuverability.
- The H3 has fenders, a rack, a “very bright” headlight, a taillight with brake activation, and a horn.
- The saddle tips forward to remove the battery, which has a large carry handle.
- Experts say the frame-integrated “handle” makes lifting and carrying the bike easier.
- A 6’3” tester is “very, very comfortable” on the H3. A 275lb, 6’4” owner rides it with no issues.
- Reviewers and buyers appreciate the “quiet” motor.
5 reasons not to buy
- Reviewers lament how much final assembly is needed.
- SOHAMO states the top speed as 28mph. Testers get 23 to 25mph.
- Ghost pedaling is a big complaint among reviewers.
- Test bikes arrived with damage including a “crooked” brake caliper and a broken fender.
- SOHAMO confusingly states rider fit as both 5’3” to 6’3” and 5’1” to 6’5”. A 5’ owner confirms the H3 is too big for them but fits a 5’3” rider.
Bottom line
SOHAMO’s H3 is a budget-priced folding e-bike with a “quiet” 750W motor, “basic” 80mm suspension fork, and 3” tires. Buyers can choose a 720Wh or 960Wh battery with 40 or 60 miles of range, respectively. Experts praise the low price, “practical” accessories, agile handling, and relatively smooth ride. The hill-climbing ability, “comfortable” seat, and “bright” headlight also impress. Testers are less enamored of the ghost pedaling and involved assembly process. What shortcomings the H3 does have are considered minor, given the low price. Both experts and owners call the H3’s performance and urban utility “amazing” in a bike this affordable.Expert Reviews
