Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Ride1UP TrailRush. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

8 reasons to buy

  • Testers enjoy the “balanced” and “natural” ride feel over light MTB trails.
  • The highly regarded Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR II EXO tires are tubeless-ready.
  • In testing, the Tektro Orion disc brakes provide strong, reliable stopping power.
  • Reviewers praise the immediate and smooth power delivery.
  • In testing on flat, paved routes, the TrailRush returns excellent range, but off-road range isn't tested.
  • The battery is removable for convenient off-bike charging.
  • The battery indicator can be set to show percentage.
  • Testers admire the three paint finishes.

11 reasons not to buy

  • The TrailRush is only available in two sizes.
  • At 59lb, the TrailRush is extremely heavy for a hardtail e-MTB.
  • The 11-36t cassette and 38t chainring combination is limiting for steeper climbs.
  • Testers struggle to hit the advertised max speed of 28mph.
  • Ride1UP bikes ship mostly disassembled, so assembly is more time-consuming and challenging.
  • The below-average 2A charger takes seven hours to charge the battery.
  • Experts dislike the small pedal assist controls. One complains that they sit too close to the dropper lever.
  • Testers find it hard to see the current PAS level on the small display.
  • A reviewer says Eco and Tour modes are underpowered when riding off-road, and there is no way to tune motor output.
  • A tester points out that the number of bike shops able to service the Brose motor is limited.
  • The TrailRush's e-bike system doesn’t have the US-recognized UL safety compliance certification, though it does have the EU equivalent.

Bottom line

Hardtail e-MTBs lack the chops for real mountain bike trails, so it’s easy to see why few established brands offer this style of bike, instead favoring full-suspension e-MTBs. Therefore, Ride1UP’s claim that the TrailRush can handle fast singletrack should be taken with a pinch of salt. The mostly brand-name components impress at this price point, and reviewers enjoy the TrailRush's balanced feel on light trails. However, the bike’s capabilities aren't tested by experienced mountain bikers, and the heavy weight, inadequate gearing, and limited sizing support the thesis that the TrailRush is actually an off-road-focused hybrid, rather than a true e-MTB.

Ride1UP TrailRush Review: Trail-Ready E-MTB on a Budget

This bike is well-suited for the singletrack I ride. I’m not looking for big drops or jumps, and this ebike isn’t [intended] to go there either.
