BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Oxbow Voyager. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

8 reasons to buy

  • A tester says the Voyager feels light when worn on a helmet.
  • The light is easy to operate, even with gloves on, according to an owner.
  • Experts say the battery holds a charge well, with one using it a year after the previous charge.
  • The wide beam offers good floodlight-style illumination for trail riding, though one tester feels it's insufficient as a standalone light.
  • Testers appreciate the light’s varied mounting options.
  • Experts and buyers value the included extension cord, which allows battery packs to be mounted to the frame or carried in a bag or on a belt.
  • The Voyager is compatible with GoPro mounts.
  • The light seems tough and durable, according to owners. One tester deems the cord properly weatherproofed.

4 reasons not to buy

  • Oxbow doesn’t provide an Ingress Protection (IP) rating for the Voyager to specify dust and water resistance, though they describe it as having light water resistance.
  • Testers have difficulty fitting the handlebar mount on 35mm handlebars, and Oxbow doesn’t specify a width range.
  • Owners dislike the cord that connects the battery to the light, saying the coiled segment stretches with use.
  • Oxbow's sales support is unresponsive, failing to reply when questioned about the Voyager's IP rating.

Bottom line

The Oxbow Voyager is a rechargeable 2100-lumen MTB light with three modes. This light can be used on handlebars, helmets, or GoPro mounts, and an included extension cord allows versatile battery placement. Owners appreciate the low weight, easy operation, wide beam, and that the battery holds charge well. Some struggle to fit the mount on 35mm handlebars, and others report the battery cord stretching. Oxbow recommends the Voyager for use in snow, but it doesn’t provide an IP rating. Overall, the Voyager is considered a solid option for mountain biking, though not as a standalone light.

Checking Out Oxbow’s Voyager Helmet Light Kit.

The Oxbow lights performed really [well]. They’re nice and bright, they didn’t budge on my handlebars at all, [and] the batteries didn’t move on my frame.
