BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the NiteRider Pro 4200. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
6 reasons to buy
- NiteRider’s Pro 4200 meets the ANSI FL1 standard, which includes a test that drops the light onto concrete from one meter.
- Owners say installing the mount and attaching the light and battery pack is straightforward.
- A tester and owners appreciate the thumb remote for operating the light from the bars.
- Buyers and experts praise the brightness at full power.
- The battery pack has a USB port to charge other devices.
- Additional battery packs can be purchased separately to use as spares during rides.
6 reasons not to buy
- NiteRider claims battery life is 1.5 hours at full brightness, but testers get just over an hour.
- The battery is very bulky and NiteRider’s suggested mounting position on the top tube may obstruct pedaling. A reviewer opts to strap it to the bottle cage, instead.
- An expert feels the beam’s harsh cut-off makes the light unsuitable for night riding on technical trails with sharp turns.
- The Pro 4200’s water resistance rating of IP64 is below average and may not be sufficient for riding in heavy rain.
- The cables for the thumb remote are short, so it may be difficult to reach the button on handlebars 720mm or wider, according to a tester.
- The Pro 4200 is very expensive.
