BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.
We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.
It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.
If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews
We have read all expert and user reviews on the LITELOK X. In summary, this is what cyclists think.
7 reasons to buy
- The LITELOK X comes in two versions: the X1 and the heavier-duty X3.
- Both versions of this lock receive Sold Secure’s highest rating (Diamond) and four stars from ART.
- The LITELOK X1 and X3 are both highly resistant to angle grinder attacks, as demonstrated by testers.
- The X3's Abloy Sentry lock cylinder is highly resistant to picking.
- The external rubber coating doesn’t scratch frames, according to testers.
- The keyhole is covered, preventing debris ingress.
- A neoprene carrying pouch is included with both versions.
6 reasons not to buy
- Testers and owners of the X1 report difficulty inserting and turning the key.
- These locks are expensive, and neither one comes with a mount.
- The installation instructions for the optional Tactical bike mount are unclear, and mounted locks are too bulky to fit small frames.
- The loops to secure excess straps break easily on the Twist & Go mount.
- Only two keys are included.
- At 4.6lb, the X3 is heavy compared to similarly sized U-locks.
Bottom line
LITELOK's X1 and X3 are U-locks rated for both bikes and motorcycles. They're third-party tested and highly resistant to angle grinder attacks. Both versions offer security for high-risk environments. The large dimensions of these locks mean they fit most anchors. Most reviewers prefer the Tactical mount to the Twist & Go, though neither is included with the lock. Based on the level of protection, the LITELOK X1 and X3 are deemed worthy investments, and multiple experts say the X1 is the best, or one of the best locks on the market.Expert Reviews
