BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Leoguar Trailblazer. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

8 reasons to buy

  • An expert praises the Trailblazer's climbing ability, easily handling steep hills.
  • The above-average RockShox suspension allows one tester to confidently tackle "moderate" trails.
  • A reviewer appreciates the planted ride feel and predictable handling.
  • The Shimano MT420 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes and 203/180mm rotors provide reliable stopping power in testing.
  • A tester finds the Trailblazer agile, thanks in part to the 27.5" wheels.
  • In one range test, a 165lb reviewer rides 36.5 miles on singletrack, climbing 2,649 feet using only max assist.
  • A reviewer says the Maxxis Rekon 2.6” tires provide good grip over loose terrain in dry conditions.
  • The top tube-integrated display is easy to read, according to a tester.

6 reasons not to buy

  • The stated height range is 5’3” to 6’5”, but a 6’1” tester finds the bike cramped, and suggests it for riders from 5’5” to 5’10” only.
  • A reviewer sets the max speed, but the motor exceeds it by around three miles per hour.
  • A tester observes a slight delay in pedal assist activation.
  • Motor power output and PAS levels cannot be adjusted, and one reviewer feels the lower levels are too weak.
  • A high cadence is required to draw full power from the motor, which makes tackling technical sections trickier.
  • The rims are taped for tubeless, but the tires aren't tubeless compatible.

Bottom line

The Leoguar Trailblazer is a budget full-suspension e-MTB. The sole reviewer says it handles "moderate" trails well. They praise the supportive suspension, climbing power, range, wide tires, and reliable Shimano drivetrain and brakes. The tester's main gripes all concern the motor, which demands a high cadence to provide full power. Power delivery is also slightly delayed and weak in the lower PAS levels, and unfortunately, there's no way to adjust output. This unrefined motor performance makes the Trailblazer unsuited to technical riding, but from limited testing, it seems to be a decent option for flowy, non-technical mountain biking.

Leoguar Trailblazer Review | Is the Motor Magic?

Leoguar may be new to the scene, but the Trailblazer is a strong first step into the affordable e-MTB category. As an entry-level option, it gets most things right, and with a few motor refinements, it could be even better.
