BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Knog Plus Front. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

8 reasons to buy

  • The Knog Plus Front's silicone straps make mounting quick and easy.
  • An integrated clip allows it to be worn on clothing or attached to gear.
  • Testers deem the Knog Plus Front suitable for being seen at night in urban settings.
  • This light detaches from the mount quickly for charging or leaving a bike locked outside.
  • This light has an IP66 rating, meaning it should be waterproof, though some report water ingress.
  • An indicator shows the remaining runtime, and the light also remembers the last mode used.
  • The Knog Plus Front plugs directly into USB-A ports for cable-free charging.
  • Experts praise the light’s “eye-catching” flash patterns.

4 reasons not to buy

  • The runtimes are short compared to other 40-lumen front lights.
  • Numerous owners say the light easily bounces out of its mount, causing some to lose it.
  • Some struggle to toggle modes or turn the light on or off, especially with gloves.
  • Two experts find that positioning the light in a crowded cockpit is tricky, as it may interfere with computer mounts or hand positions.

Bottom line

The Knog Plus Front is a 40-lumen be-seen light deemed suitable for urban settings. It has five modes. Feedback varies significantly among buyers and experts. Some report water ingress and the light falling out of the mount, and many note that battery life typically declines after two years. Runtimes also trail behind some competitors. While most feel the Knog Plus Front offers good value, competitors have fewer reported issues. There’s also a rear version available.

Knog Plus Twinpack

If the front light could handle three to four hours on steady, these would be a [9/10]. It copes on Pulse, which is OK, but not as good, so [8/10] it is.

Knog Plus Lightset Review

The Knog Plus: just 40 lumens. But for a to-be-seen light, that’s plenty in most situations, and the chip on board lighting tech used means that there’s a larger illuminated area than with a smaller number of brighter LEDs…

This is at dusk, and you can really see the [Blinder Mini] putting out a lot more light there, even though the lumens are actually lower than the Knog Plus [Front].

Knog Plus User Review – Is It Worth It? Oh Yes… It’s Worth Being Visible. [Polish]

The charging… is signaled by a red LED, the same LED also indicates low battery level, although this notification appears much too late. Once the light comes on, you have very little time to get home with the lights working.
