9/11 National Memorial Trail Bike Tour
Scenic and meaningful bike tour covering 1200 miles in 27 days, exploring inter-connected bike trails which access memorials and monuments dedicated to the events of September 11, 2001. Commencing in Arlington, VA at the Pentagon Memorial on June 5, the tour will take cyclists clockwise following the 9/11 Trail before ultimately returning to Arlington on July 1. Cyclists will visit 9/11 memorials in VA/DC, MD, PA, and NJ. Cyclists may participate in all or part of this 27-day tour. Registration fee covers hotels for each night, breakfasts, snacks, SAG & mechanical support, luggage transportation. Rest stops with lunch/snacks along the route for each day, set-up by the SAG. Dinner each night at local restaurant. Three rest days in the full 27-day tour. Shortest riding day is 30 miles, longest riding day is 70 miles.
