Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Altis Sigma. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Published Feb 24, 2026 by Reda Ashour.

13 reasons to buy

  • The Sigma is available standard with 19” wheels, or MX with a 16” rear wheel.
  • The Limited Edition Sigma upgrades the RPM, torque, suspension, and front hub.
  • Testers prefer the off-road traction and control that the 16" rear wheel provides.
  • Reviewers are impressed by the instant power delivery and fast acceleration.
  • Experts praise the “dialed” and smooth throttle curve across the four power modes. Throttle strength can also be adjusted via the display or app.
  • A reviewer reaches a GPS-verified top speed of 71mph.
  • Reviewers say the Sigma is easy to wheelie.
  • The Sigma comes with a headlight, a taillight with brake activation, and two USB charge ports.
  • The 12A charger delivers a full charge in just three hours.
  • The 300lb payload capacity is above average.
  • A 200lb tester riding the standard Sigma in Normal mode (mode 2) achieves 40 miles of range in 80° weather.
  • Experts find the ride is stable at high speed.
  • Testers say the Sigma can handle any hill climb, as long as the terrain is not too loose.

10 reasons not to buy

  • A 5’10” reviewer feels cramped, almost hitting their knees on the bars.
  • A test bike is weighed at 201lb, and reviewers say the high weight reduces agility.
  • Testers find Race mode scary fast, particularly because of the compact frame.
  • For one reviewer, the NFC card fails to power the bike on, and the seat must be removed with a key to manually turn it on.
  • The poorly positioned battery charge port cover (under the fender) keeps popping open on one reviewer's bike.
  • Reviewers say assembly is more complicated than other e-motos.
  • With only one button, reviewers must cycle through all power modes to go to a lower mode.
  • Testers say the meager suspension travel, narrow-diameter 7/8" handlebars, and cheap tires are not ideal for off-roading.
  • Two testers' bikes have tight wiring, causing the display to power off when turning the bars. Another’s throttle wire is too tight and breaks during testing.
  • One test bike's brake caliper comes loose during testing, and two others have spongy brakes.

Bottom line

The Altis Sigma electric dirt bike pushes the limits of speed for this category, with the smooth power delivery, blistering fast acceleration, and max speed impressing. However, the bike is deemed to require modifications and upgrades for true off-road performance, such as lowering the torque output and speed, switching to wider bars, and upgrading to grippier tires. At this price, the high number of reported quality control issues is concerning. Nonetheless, testers feel the Altis Sigma is worth it for riders who want category-leading speed.

Altis Sigma Review – 98V and 22KW of Power on the Trail

I love the throttle curve on this bike; it’s so perfectly dialed in for a bike with this much power. You can definitely get yourself in a lot of trouble on this bike if you’re a beginner.

The Sad Truth About the Altis Sigma

It’s powerful enough, but it’s smooth. And that’s the key thing, it is extremely smooth, especially at low RPM when you have a lot of load on it. That’s really the only thing good I have to say about it.

It’s going to take me some time getting used to this. This is a whole lot of power and a whole lot of torque… The performance is on a whole other level.

The New Altis Sigma | Review on the New Altis Sigma

All in all, it’s a very smoothly accelerating bike. It’s very quick, and with the 98V 35Ah battery, that does kind of restrict your range a little bit. But it does give you the ability to hit a higher top speed.

Altis Sigma: One Week Review and Features Overview

You also don’t need a footpeg support bracket like other models because the frame incorporates this large crossmember in between the footpegs. After one week of ownership, we really don’t have any complaints about the Altis Sigma.

This Is the Rarest E-Bike Ever Made (Only 500 in the World)

The Limited Edition is definitely different. It’s not drastically different obviously, but I could definitely tell and feel the differences between this one and the original one that I rode.

My One-Year Review of the Altis Sigma…

It just completely stopped working and I had to bend the wires until they were at the right position that the display would turn on. But other than that, the Altis is the best bike I’ve literally ridden…
