Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Tamobyke V29. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

12 reasons to buy

  • The V29 has fenders, a headlight, and a taillight.
  • Reviewers find the bike easy to maneuver.
  • An expert relishes the 32mph top speed of the V29 Pro.
  • A 225lb tester gets 35.23 miles in a range test of the V29 Pro.
  • A reviewer is pleased by the instant throttle response.
  • Testers enjoy the plush seat.
  • The V29 Pro's Logan hydraulic brakes deliver good stopping power in testing.
  • The dual-battery V29 Pro includes two chargers.
  • A reviewer finds the upright riding position comfortable.
  • Testers say the suspension helps smooth out rough pavement.
  • The display can be read in bright sunlight.

11 reasons not to buy

  • Owners complain of weak brakes on the standard V29.
  • The dual-motor V29 Pro struggles on steep hills in testing.
  • Multiple owners report the bike falling apart within months.
  • Buyers are disappointed by Tamobyke customer support’s unhelpfulness and unresponsiveness.
  • Owners experience frequent flat tires.
  • At 88.18lb (V29) and 96.56lb (V29 Pro), this bike is heavy.
  • The suspension isn't adjustable.
  • The speedometer reads up to 7mph over an external GPS in testing.
  • The battery indicator is based on voltage sag, making it hard to gauge remaining range.
  • Tamobyke provides contradictory specifications on the product webpages.
  • A 6’2” reviewer feels the bike is too small despite the stated 5'5'' to 6'6" height range.

Bottom line

Tamobyke's V29 motorcycle-style e-bike comes in two builds: V29 and V29 Pro. The Pro version has a larger motor, but the nominal power for both builds is unclear, and Tamobyke doesn't respond when queried. Testing is of the V29 Pro, which is deemed comfortable on short rides. The hydraulic disc brakes perform well on the V29 Pro, but owners of standard V29 report poor stopping power. The cheap tires, high weight, low build quality, and poor customer support add to the bike's woes. Testers enjoy the bike, but owners warn that maintenance and repair costs negate the Tamobyke V29's budget price.

I Bought the Cheapest Dual Battery E-Bike on Amazon. Is It Any Good?! – Tamobyke V29 Pro E-Moped

I think this would be really good for a teenager because it’s not super fast. It still gives you the motorcycle appeal with the cool headlight, mag wheels, and dual batteries.

Powerful and Room for 2! The Tamobyke V29 Pro Electric Bike!

If you have kids, it would be a great purchase for them. And on a scale from a super cheap bike to a very expensive bike, it sits right in the middle. It’s very, very economical.

The V29 Pro is worth the extra few hundred to get the 1500W motor, dual batteries, Kenda Crusade tires (which were outstanding), and the Logan hydraulic disc brakes.
