The mount cannot be used on carbon or tapered forks that don't have mounting eyelets.
Installing the metal bands on forks without eyelets is fiddly and requires extra tools. The bands are also single-use.
An expert and numerous owners note that the Hex screw heads strip easily.
Some testers say the screws are too short for deep-set eyelets, and one mount falls off due to poor thread engagement.
