What I Cover

I am a contributing writer for BikeRide.com focused on writing reviews of all cycling-related accessories.

My Background

My adventure with BikeRide began in 2024, when I decided it was time to retreat from the upholstery industry and tackle a fresh challenge.

I’ve dabbled in a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I’ve taught ESL in South Korea, been a nanny in Spain, and sampled several different professions in my second home: Italy. My time in the Italian furniture sector, however, has provided me with the most valuable insight when it comes to researching bike accessories. From textiles and zippers to wood, metals, foams, and more, I’ve witnessed the production process from start to finish. After several years writing about and reviewing a vast range of products for online platforms, navigating the online shopping process is second-nature to me.

As an occasional cyclist, my steed of choice is a 1950s Italian “grandma” –er – Ganna city bike that I use for quick runs to the hairdresser, the bank, or the local watering hole for a caffé lungo.

Journalistic Ethics

Quality research and editing contribute to quality reviews, and like my fellow writers, I am dedicated to providing unbiased information to readers. I consider products objectively, and I don’t pretend to know it all, which helps keep my perspective balanced and neutral.
