Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Devinci Django. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

16 reasons to buy

  • The Devinci Django has wide Maxxis Minion and Aggressor tires that provide loads of traction on 29" wheels.
  • The frame is offered in aluminum and carbon. This allows riders with varying budgets to find a build that is in their price range.
  • Experts agree the bike is a capable climber with its steep seat tube angle. The climbing mode on the suspension is only necessary on the steepest climbs.
  • Hydraulic disc brakes from SRAM and Shimano are used on the Django. Testers agree these are reliable.
  • The threaded bottom bracket is easy to maintain.
  • The 780 mm or 800 mm handlebars used on the bike are wide. They offer riders stability on uneven trails.
  • Each build uses a 12-speed SRAM or Shimano drivetrain, providing a sufficient gear range for tackling a wide variety of terrain, including steep climbs.
  • The internally routed cables are tidy and quiet. They are routed through a tube and secured in place.
  • There is room for a medium-sized water bottle in the frame.
  • Devinci protects the downtube from damage with a rubberized covering.
  • The chainstay length is different on each size bike to maintain consistent performance across all sizes.
  • The Django is a stable descender even at top speeds.
  • There is clearance for a 175 mm dropper post on an XL build.
  • The Django is playful and fun to pop through jump lines on.
  • The flip-chip, located below the rear shock mount, allows riders to fine-tune the bike to their riding style.
  • Each build of the bike is priced fairly for the components and its performance on the trail.

2 reasons not to buy

  • The Django is not the lightest in its category.
  • Taller riders found the bike too long. If you are between sizes it is recommended by testers to size down.

Bottom line

The Devinci Django is a short travel trail bike. It has 140-150mm of travel in the front and 120mm in the rear. The bike is versatile. It is an efficient climber. It is forgiving on descents. Devinci adjusts the chainstay length on each size of the bike to provide riders with a consistent feel on the bike. It is not the lightest. It is available with an aluminum or carbon frame. Shimano and SRAM groupset options are available for the Django.
