Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Urtopia Chord. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

13 reasons to buy

  • Users agree the Chord is an aesthetic tour-de-force, with sleek lines and stylish custom accessories.
  • Reviewers say the Chord is fun to ride around town, especially in Turbo mode.
  • Experts appreciate the smooth integration of the cabling and battery.
  • Security features include a fingerprint reader, an alarm, and GPS location tracking.
  • The Chord comes with fenders, built-in navigation, a Bluetooth speaker, and semi-integrated lights.
  • With Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and 4G eSIM, the Chord is always connected.
  • Some testers feel the design, utility, and high-tech features make the Chord good value.
  • One expert says the Tektro hydraulic disc brakes perform very well. The brake levers are adjustable for different hand sizes.
  • A reviewer calls the headlight "bright and effective."
  • The 4A charger provides a full charge in just 2.5 hours.
  • One reviewer praises the bike and motor as "very quiet."
  • Testers say the torque sensor provides smooth power and natural pedal feel.
  • Experts praise the "premium" feel of the liquid-forged aluminum frame.

14 reasons not to buy

  • A tester finds the 'smart' bell isn't reliable, with a frequent delay that presents a safety risk.
  • Wet weather makes the display hard to use and renders the fingerprint reader unusable, making it impossible to unlock the bike and problematic to change settings.
  • Moisture ingress was evident in the display of one tester's sample bike.
  • The rear light impedes the lowest saddle settings.
  • The 'free' eSIM only lasts one year, increasing the ongoing costs of the security/connected features.
  • An expert had multiple frustrations while trying to pair the app to the bike.
  • Given the small battery and motor and lack of suspension and accessories, this bike is relatively heavy at 48.6lb.
  • Connectivity features like GPS tracking and Bluetooth drain the battery, even with the bike turned off.
  • The integrated cockpit limits adjustability.
  • One expert feels the 352.8Wh battery and 36V system are sub-par in today's market.
  • A reviewer finds it odd that a connected bike has no USB port for charging a smartphone.
  • There's no quick-release clamp on the seatpost, and adjustments are "fiddly," according to experts.
  • Testers say the Chord is uncomfortable to ride on bumpy roads.
  • The audio from the Bluetooth speaker disappoints riders.

Bottom line

The Urtopia Chord is a Class 1 e-bike with a 350W motor and a suite of high-tech features. Experts praise the "premium" design and connectivity. However, many of the 'smart' features have flaws that limit the bike's practicality. An unreliable bell, a fingerprint scanner that doesn't function in the rain, and connectivity features that drain the small battery are just some of the Chord's shortcomings. All things considered, this bike is probably best suited to riders who prize style over functionality and want a cool toy for sunny days.

Urtopia Chord Review Anti-Theft GPS & 4G-Enabled City E-Bike!

I think this is a great bike. Yes, it is a little more expensive than some of the other e-bikes out there, but it’s definitely worth it if you want the GPS or the smart features. The only real con for me… the 4G… will slowly drain the battery.
