Can everyone participate in BikeRide giveaways?
You can participate in BikeRide giveaway competitions or sweepstakes if you are above the age of 13. Restrictions for age of majority in your country of residence may apply to specific giveaway products. If this is the case, we will inform our giveaway participants. These are international giveaways, although specific prizes might have restrictions in your country. In such cases, restricted countries will be listed within the Terms & Conditions.
How often does BikeRide hold competitions?
Our giveaways are typically held each month. Entry is open throughout the whole month or until the specified end date (which is usually set for the last date of the month eg. January 31). However, there can be occasional special offers and giveaways with a shorter participation period. Please check back to stay up to date with competition end-dates.
How can I learn about upcoming giveaways?
We suggest you follow BikeRide on our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), check our forum or subscribe to our newsletter – where we constantly announce current and upcoming giveaways.
Can I increase my chances of winning by referring a friend?
Yes. Referring a friend will count for two (2) entries in a BikeRide giveaway.
Am I allowed to use more than one email address to enter BikeRide giveaways?
Our cycling giveaways are only open to entrants who use a single email address. Using multiple emails is considered to be fraud and entrants who have done so will not be eligible to win prizes in BikeRide giveaways.
I already follow BikeRide on social media and have registered on forum. Can I still participate?
Of course, each month we add customized entry options. For example, every sweepstake a has free entry option, worth a single (1) entry point. Social media followers have other options besides simply following the BikeRide profile, such as tagging us in a posted photo or giving us a mention on Twitter.
Does BikeRide use my personal data – and is it safe?
Any personal data supplied to BikeRide for competition purpose, will not be sold to third parties or uses it to spread spam messages. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
How do you decide who wins?
We use a random draw tool provided by the third-party service Gleam. The winner is drawn immediately after the end of the giveaway period.
When and where do you announce the winners?
Winners are announced during the first day after the giveaway competition has ended, which is usually the first day of the following month. Winner(s) will receive an email from BikeRide informing them that they have won the sweepstake. BikeRide announces winner(s) on the majority of our social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter), on our forum, on this page, and through our newsletter.
My name came up as a winner. How do I know that I have won?
We will contact you via your provided email address within 24 hours after announcing the winner(s). If you used social media channels to enter the giveaway, you will also be tagged in that post.
I won, but have not heard from BikeRide.
If you can not find an email sent by BikeRide (always double-check your spam folder) and have not heard from us within seven (7) days, please write to us using the email address: [email protected] or through our social media channels. If we do not receive any reply message from you within 10 days after announcing the winner, we maintain the right to cancel your prize and redo the draw for another winner.
How do you know where to send the prize?
BikeRide will contact the winners asking them to provide their delivery address and personal information. You are fully responsible for providing correct delivery information.
Do I have to cover any costs?
We cover the shipment costs in collaboration with the product manufacturer or representative. However, import tax or tariff costs may apply to the delivery package in your country of residence. You are responsible for complying with local country laws or regulations in order to receive your package. We suggest you become acquainted with any local laws or regulations that may affect you, in order to avoid unwanted surprises.
Who handles the delivery and how long will it take?
Typically, sweepstake prizes are sent directly by the product manufacturer or its subsidiary. Delivery time depends on our partner’s delivery policy and location. Namely, it may take longer to deliver packages to specific regions.
I have not yet received my prize. Can you help me?
In very rare circumstances delivery may be delayed, as packages may be held by customs or lost in the delivery process. There is the possibility of packages receiving significant damage during postage. We are not responsible for lost or damaged prizes and therefore unable to assist once prizes are shipped. However, we can forward your messages or concerns to the responsible parties.
Is this competition for real?
Yes – BikeRide is a reputable and fast-growing cycling platform, founded in 1996. It has thousands of community members and followers on social media channels.
