BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Biky Air. In summary, this is what cyclists think. Published Feb 20, 2026 by Jordan Grimes.

14 reasons to buy

  • The Biky Air is available in three sizes: Air 14, Air 16, and Air 20, covering kids with inseams from 16" to 29”.
  • Biky offers the Air in five colorways.
  • Experts appreciate the child-specific geometry, most importantly, the narrow Q-factor.
  • The Air’s long wheelbase makes for a more stable ride, say experts.
  • Kids find the short brake levers easy to reach.
  • The Air’s longer-than-average crank arms result in slower pedal cadences and better stability, helping kids learn to ride.
  • Reviewers say the upright riding position is well-suited to beginners.
  • The low standover height makes the Air easier to mount and dismount.
  • This bike is very light for its category of bike.
  • The Air shows no signs of wear after “plenty of falls” and adventure rides, according to a reviewer.
  • The Biky Air has safety features such as grip-end bumpers, a fully enclosed chain guard, and a steering limiter.
  • Because the Air 14 and 16 come with two seat posts, Biky isn't required to include a coaster brake.
  • Experts appreciate that Biky, unlike the competition, doesn’t spec a coaster brake on the Air, and say this makes it easier for bicycling beginners.
  • Two testers praise the easy assembly.

4 reasons not to buy

  • The street tires lack grip on off-road surfaces.
  • The Air doesn’t have a kickstand.
  • The single-speed gearing isn’t suitable for kids living in hilly areas.
  • Biky doesn’t offer a trade-in program.

Bottom line

The Biky Air is a premium lightweight kids’ bike and a direct competitor to woom’s GO, both in price and apparent design and build quality. Experts call the Air series (14”, 16”, 20”) “exceptional”, with thoughtful geometry, components, and safety features that make it especially suited to riders who are slightly more nervous or timid. Parents should keep in mind that the single-speed gearing simplifies operation but isn’t ideal for hills, and the slick tires won’t offer much grip off-road. However, for kids who’ll stick mostly to pavement, the Biky Air seems an excellent albeit pricey option.
