Bike Size Charts

BikeRide finds and shows you the best prices of the bikes you want to buy. Prices constantly change and it’s impossible to compare them all yourself.

We search for prices on over 120 bike retailers to guarantee that we find the lowest prices – to save you time and money.

It’s a promise we stand behind: If you find a lower price on a bike elsewhere, we will sell it to you for 10% less. For example, if you find a bike for $480 that we have listed at $500, we will offer you to buy it for $432 through BikeRide. The bike must be the same color and size, sold in the US and not include the use of a coupon.

If you find a lower price, email us at [email protected] with documentation of the price. We’re committed to making sure that the cost of a bike does not keep you from cycling!

Summary of Reviews

We have read all expert and user reviews on the Old Man Mountain Atlas. In summary, this is what cyclists think.

6 reasons to buy

  • The Old Man Mountain Atlas is available in 9L and 12L versions.
  • An expert says attaching and removing the bag from racks is simple.
  • The Atlas remains stable over rough, uneven terrain, according to a tester.
  • In testing, the bag's contents remain dry, even in heavy rain.
  • The Atlas is compatible with dropper posts.
  • All Old Man Mountain bags are covered by a lifetime warranty.

1 reasons not to buy

  • Several testers find the 9L Atlas is too small for bulkier items like sleeping bags and quilts, due to its rectangular shape and “narrow” opening.

Bottom line

Old Man Mountain’s Atlas is a rack-top bag available in two sizes (9L and 12L). It receives praise for its sturdiness, effective waterproofing, and stability when mounted. Attaching and removing it is easy, especially on the Elkhorn rack. One owner reports a broken attachment strap, though this seems an isolated issue. The Atlas is dropper-compatible and, like all OMM bags, comes with a lifetime warranty. Overall, the Old Man Mountain Atlas earns expert approval, but at the time of writing, it lacks feedback from long-term users.

… one of the most outstanding points, both of the Hemlock and the Atlas Rack Pack, is their stability… Regarding the Atlas Rack Pack, as I mentioned before, the strap buckles initially appear flimsy. But in practice, they work wonderfully.

Old Man Mountain Bikepacking Gear Review: Divide Rack + Ponderosa Panniers

I really like this bag… I like the flat surface on this Atlas Pack to be able to strap [on] shoes.

Old Man Mountain Bikepacking Rack System Review

I found that my seat easily clears the rack during suspension compression. However, it can hit the Deck Pack… OMM had warned me that the clearance… was uncertain, but it turns out that it barely works for me.

Old Man Mountain FLiP Cage, Hemlock & Atlas Packs Make Quick Work of Hauling More Gear

I haven’t really had as much of a chance to fully test out the new 9L Atlas Rack Pack… But I did fit it onto a commuter bike rack and stuffed a bit of gear inside.
