The Tour de Saints charity bike ride, scheduled for the Saturday before Labor Day weekend each August, is an annual outreach event hosted by All Saints Episcopal Church.  This community event supports local charities in Cabarrus County.

Our objectives are to raise awareness about the work these charities do in our community; collect non-perishable food items on the day of the ride; and generate funds to directly support these charities.

The ride will begin and end at All Saints Episcopal Church on Lake Concord Road.  The Concord Police Department helps get our cyclists get safely out of town and on to less traveled country roads, and the Cabarrus Sheriff’s Department takes it from there.  Three routes traverse scenic rural areas of Cabarrus and Rowan County on the classic “back country” roads.  The 50K, 100K and 50-mile routes are well supported with rest stops spaced about 10 miles apart.

Riders participating in the event will pay an entry fee and donate non-perishable bood itesm.  We will provide lunch to the participants and sell lunch to guests.

Sponsorship levels start at $300 and are recognized on our event t-shirts and website.  All in-kind donations are recognized on our website as well.  Since our first year, HUNDREDS of cyblists and volunteers have raised more tan $133,000 and collected more than 12.5 TONS of food to support local charities in Cabarrus County.
