Tiffany’s Pink Pedal Ride
The Tiffany Lynn O’Donnell Foundation was established in 2024 in memory of Tiffany, whose joyful life was taken too soon from metastatic breast cancer at the age of 43. Tiffany was a warrior with a heart of gold, and her everlasting inspiration will fill the people who knew her with the incredible joy she felt for life.
Tiffany’s lovable personality, the brightest blue eyes you will ever see, and her compassion for helping people led her to become a fierce and relentless advocate for numerous cancer support groups. Over the years, she helped to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for organizations including the Young Survival Coalition (YSC), the METAvivor organization, and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
One of her top passions was riding in the 200-mile YSC Tour de Pink charity bicycle ride and spending time with other young women on a similar journey. As one of her dear friends put it regarding the annual weekend event, “you put a bunch of young women together who have faced death, and you get a whole bunch of living!” The sisterhood she formed through these activities was a source of strength, inspiration, and courage to fight and live every day to the fullest. Tiffany gained great joy, confidence, and a sense of normalcy from training, riding, and enjoying the experience of preparing for these annual charity bike rides.
In honor of Tiffany’s fierce advocacy for those living with breast cancer, her family and friends have joined together to continue her advocacy for increased research funding for Stage IV metastatic cancer, earlier screening and detection, and education, networking and support for women diagnosed with breast cancer. As Tiffany would passionately communicate, “Stage IV deserves more!” We agree. We intend to do our part to do more for stage IV until treatments are developed so that a diagnosis of metastatic breast cancer is no longer terminal.
What better way to honor her legacy, than a charity bike ride through the countryside known as “the sweetest place on earth” and the place she called home, Hershey, Pennsylvania. Proceeds raised from this event will be used to support those causes most important to Tiffany, including Metavivor, Young Survival Coalition, Making Strides Against Breast Cancer and other organizations as determined by the Foundation board.
