Event details and schedule

We hope that you will consider becoming involved and help us continue our tradition of promoting cycling in South Jersey. Below are some ways:

-To get acquainted, attend a monthly meeting which are held the first Wednesday of each month except December at the Vineland Fitness Connection, 1430 W. Sherman Ave., Vineland, NJ08360. Details are on our website: http://www.sjwheelmen.org .

-Volunteer to help with our organized century ride, the Jersey Devil Metric Century at Parvin State Park.

-Offer to lead a ride. Even if you are relatively new to cycling you can easily:
1. learn a route,   2. choose a speed comfortable to your condition,  3. emphasize some safety tips (helmets required), and 4. be encouraging.
Don’t underestimate your ability to lead. We’ll give you advice on this valuable contribution and support your effort.

-Join us on our annual Vermont trip in August and Convention weekend in October. We also have an annual weekend at a cabin in Belleplain State Park where we do both road and mountain bike rides.
