Rec Bike Club: Rock Run Greenway Trail
Description
Join our recreation coordinator on the trail for some bike rides this fall! Meet at Rock Run Preserve – Black Road Access in Joliet for a 7.5-mile ride at a comfortable group pace. Register and complete all six Rec Bike Club rides in this series and receive a commemorative shirt. Other rides are as follows:
- 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 21: Wauponsee Glacial Trail South
- 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25: Rock Run Greenway Trail (You are registering for this ride.)
- 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5: Old Plank Road Trail
- 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9: Wauponsee Glacial Trail North
- 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 19: Hickory Creek Preserve
- 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23: Messenger Marsh
A bicycle and helmet are required for each participant. The trail is crushed limestone.
