Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie 25-mile Gravel Ride

Join us to celebrate National Trails Day! Come ready to ride our 25-mile loop of gravel trails through the U.S. Forest Service’s Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie, an ongoing restoration project at the site of the former Joliet Army Ammunition Plant.

The ride begins at 9:00am. There will be water refill stations and restrooms available on the route. The route will be marked and coned, making navigation of the course extremely easy.
