Wallowas Loop: 300 Miles, 7 Nights, Historic Locations

Day 0: Start the ride at the Historic Hotel in Union where you can grab a burger to beef up for the ride and a milkshake to cool down when you return on day 7.
Day 1: Union – Elgin via Cove for a stay at the Stampede Inn ~32 mi. (Options for this night include a $5.00 buy-in poker game)
Day 2: Elgin – Enterprise Wilderness Inn ~48 mi. (Oregon's Famous Terminal Gravity Brewing is available nearby)
Day 3: Layover Day: Option 1: Rest. Option 2: Enterprise – Joseph Galleries, Foundries, Shops ~7 miles. Option 3: Enterprise to Wallowa Lake ~ 13 miles. Option 4: TRAM ride to summit of Mt Howard views 2 miles of hiking trails, and “the Northwest’s Highest Restaurant” featuring two food and beverage options: additional cost $31 ($28 age 65+).
Day 4: Enterprise – HalfwayPine Valley Lodge ~78 mi. This is the toughest day with 3 major climbs (18mi, 10mi, 5mi) reaching a 1528' summit. Don't sweat though! A conditioned sag rig will be available for any hill longer than 3 miles.
Day 5: Layover Day: Option 1: Rest. Option 2: Out and Back to the Dam via Pine Creek ~ 40 miles there and 40 miles back. Option 3: 40 miles to the Snake River and transport back. Option 4: 2 hour Jet Boat Ride on the Snake River from the Dam cost: $75 RSVP payable with registration.
Day 6: Halfway – Baker City Best Western Sunridge Inn ~54 mi
Day 7: Baker City – Union where that milkshake I promised you at the beginning will be waiting with your car. ~45 mi
